When we turn the hot water off the central heating does not go on, so it is
Cornflake
just linked itself to the hot water.Any idea why?

Hi, next to your hot water cylinder there will be a 'diverter

There is a little peg which sticks out, and moves to 3 places. Left (hot

water) right (central heating) or middle (both).

Have a look to see if sticks, or only moves one way when you change from
just hot water, to just central heating.

Good luck

motorized valve not switching [try it manual with lever on the
Biscuit
side] or programmer faulty not telling the valve to switch.
